DesiFlorida is committed to making our website usable by everyone in Florida's South Asian community, including people who use screen readers, keyboards only, or other assistive technologies.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That is the same technical bar most often referenced in U.S. website accessibility complaints and settlements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III.

What we support

• Skip link to jump to main content
• Page language set to English
• Labeled form fields on account and posting flows
• Keyboard access for primary navigation, search, and account menus
• Meaningful text alternatives for key informative images
• Reduced-motion preferences for auto-scrolling catalogs

Known limitations

Some third-party embeds (for example video players or ad creatives) and older imported content may not yet meet every WCAG criterion. We continue to improve labels, contrast, and keyboard behavior as we ship updates.

Request help

If you encounter a barrier — for example content that a screen reader cannot read, a control you cannot reach with a keyboard, or text that is hard to see — please tell us. Include the page URL and a short description of what happened.
